1993 Mercedes Benz 300E 2.8 165k - it starts and runs until it reaches full operating temp then immediately sputters down and dies
I'm parting this out now no one really wants a non drivable car I understand.
My prices will be cheaper than pick n pull and MUCH more fair than eBaay. But buyer will l l have to pay shipping, I'll find the cheapest best way to do it, I worked in packing, shipping, and receiving for ten years so I'm very good at it.
Here are just a few parts off the top of my head to get the ball rolling
- euro headlights
- Clear Corners
- black leather power seats perfect spring & stuffing good no rips
- all window regulators work
- Chrome 190e rims on good rubber
- interior pretty fricken perfect (everything except steering wheel)
- Good carpets (floor mats okay, drivers mat worn out)

- ***** ton of OVP relays & fuel pump relays
- 2 extra ecu's
- extra cluster parts
- brand new Bosch O2 Sensor (spliced w/ benz connectors)
- good Delphi wiring harness (non biodegradable upgrade)
- the throttle body taken out and cleaned thoroughly (wire inspected aswell)
- new OVP relay from dealership
- new fuel pump relay from dealership
- new temperature sensor (the fuel injection CIS system one)
- brand new crank position sensor
- suspension parts are all good
- brakes rotors etc

- etc etc etc!!!
just ask I got some good stuff that breaks on these cars often

UPDATE: Since people seem to be showing more interest than I expected is this part out I will clean up this add and throw in prices by the listed parts and remove all the extra run on paragraphs and etc. Very busy this weekend but I'll try to get it done.

Ya ive had this car about a year I got it and the OVP relay went out but I thought I needed a new computer for the longest time so it just sat for a few months. So I began to start losing interest in the car over this time and got super into w123. until I finally just randomly swapped the relay and it started again.
So now I wanted to try and tune it up a bit haha, so I had the bright idea of swapping out my buzzing (going bad but still working) fuel pump with a fuel pump from Pick-n-Pull and now the car starts up great, idle is at about 1100 then slowly climbs to about 1700 rpm over the next few mins as it warms up and literally as soon as it hits 80° Celsius it dies just as if it just ran outta gas. Sputters pretty quickly to a stop.
The check engine light comes on usually after that and it gets 17 blinks on the checker thing by the battery.
So literally the only thing that changed from when it ran to it not running is that crappy used fuel pump I put in it, so I'm guessing if you buy the new fuel pump she should run again.
It has a brand new Bosch O2 Sensor, the main wire harness has been replaced with the good Delphi one, the small harness has been replaced, the throttle body taken out and cleaned thoroughly, new OVP relay from dealership, new fuel pump relay from dealership, and new temperature sensor (the one that connects with the fuel injection system) and new Bosch crank position sensor... I put all this stuff in it trying to throw parts at the problem, so they all are literally brand new 0 mile parts.
I have many references from previous buyers of mine on this forum available on request.
