Sources say it's an F1 car made for the street so who wouldn't want to buy one? The Project One is an F1-powered hypercar and will make its debut in concept form at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Although MB has not released exact specs, we should expect over 1,000 rwhp with 670 produced from a 1.6L V6 single turbo engine and 320 produced from two electric motors mounted at the front axle.

And amazingly, all this is street legal. Mercedes development head Ola Källenius says the Project One is “the first Formula 1 car with MOT approval,” meaning it can be registered in the UK. We’d be shocked if this wasn’t the case in the US too. Mercedes will build 275 Project Ones, with a price starting at €2.275-million.
