Last year I installed Bosch HID Xenon lights in my C280 Sport. These would be the same headlight assemblies and Ballasts used in the later model W202 with HID lighting. They have the Bosch part #'s instead of MB #'s. My alarm is factory though, and part of the alarm is to flash the lights, along with the horn. I'm wodering if when the alarm tries to flash the lights, and its really firing the ballast for the HID's, if that would hurt the ballast or the HID bulb at all in quick ON/OFF cases like that. This really isnt a need to know question, as the alarm going off isnt a common thing but more for my knowledge. Thanks!
