Crankcase breather 450 M116/M117

I have finished my dual exhaust system 2.5 inch cats back to 2.5 in/out dual muffler. Also finished my dual snorkel air cleaner with hoses.

Next I will be getting a intake manifold upper/lower and doing a porting and polishing. I believe since the air system is dry without gasoline polishing will improve air flow.

But the manifolds should be clean, all threads speak of a very dirty oily manifolds. This can only come from the valve cover breather to the inside portion of the air cleaner.

So what have others done about this problem? I was thinking about adding another duplicate air cleaner air pump filter. Pipe the breather tube through a filter into the outer area of the air cleaner rather than direct to the engine.

Or better yet would be to pipe the valve cover breather hose to an oil catch can that has a oil filter on top. Liquids would be caught and vapors could go out the bottom of the car like other cars of the 60's. Or the vapors after the catch can could go into the extra air pump filter.

Your ideas?
