A Wood Trim Refinisher Recommendation!

Hi, everyone. I would like to recommend Igor Smirnov and his business Restored in USA Mercedes Auto Wood Trim Restoration for San Diego Los Angeles | I specialized in restoring vintage auto wood trim for Mercedes All models. Mercedes W107, W108, W123, W124, W126, dashboard trim, center consul shift cover, AC trims, door trims. I'm off

Quick backstory: I purchased a complete set of zebrano trim for my '78 280ce to replace the aged burl. What I didn't realize was that the center console shift cover was incompatible with my car, as the shifter gate was offset (where mine is centered).

I sent Igor my original panel, plus the new Zebrano one I couldn't use, from which to try and match the pattern & color. He restored my original quickly and masterfully, and for a very reasonable price.

See photos below: Photo 1 is a side-by-side of the new piece I couldn't use and the original burl panel. Photo 2 is what he sent back to me - a damn-near perfect match of the zebrano trim I wanted...

This is an unsolicited recommendation - I have no interest in his business; I'm just a very happy customer! Call him at 760-975-5323 (he's in San Diego) or email: comptech2003@gmail.com
