It's not whining - it's discussing a very popular person online, who sells products that we buy. It's important to discuss it. I like his videos honestly and from the sounds of it, he is a very nice individual.

I'll be honest though, the lower oil cooler line post on his site REALLY upset me. He's basically telling his buyers that a Chinese part is made in Germany. See below - and google m ercede$source oil cooler line to see it. He's selling a part we can buy on pelican for $39 for $97 and claiming it's German made. That to me is pretty dirty. To clarify, yes it's the same hose as the trucktek one on pelician, don't fool yourself and think that Kent there is getting it shipped to Germany from trucktek and back to USA. The shipping alone to do that would make the hose $400+ per item.

This high quality hose is being provided to us thru Monark in Germany with cooperation from Trucktec. OM 617 oil cooler hoses are going out of production and are getting more difficult to obtain. We were not happy with the quality of some of the aftermarket hoses we were getting so we approached Monark to help us come up with a solution. This newly manufactured hose is as good as or better than O.E. We believe the quality of the hose material itself and the crimping method is superior and will lead to longer life.
