I just wrestled on the old belt.. I couldn't get the new one on for the life of me. The spring nor the shock was on when I was trying this.. I think the idler pulley was as far down as it could go.. maybe my belt is just not quite right but I did have to struggle a bit with the old one too.. how easy did your belt go on sixto?
