United just cant catch a break. It does not look like an engine failure but more like the cowling was not secured and came loose. The video is pretty scary. There is a video on line that a passenger took and the engine is shaking it's pylon pretty good and the shaking in the aircraft is pretty evident.

I am sure that was a scary trip.
