Thanks Scott. I finally got a response from the people who made it (Rockford Fostgate) and that is what they said. There is some kind of key to remove it.

You are a stereo wiz, can you explain why this stereo cuts out over small bumps. I am not talking about CD skips, but the power actually cuts out. The shop who put it in seems useless to fix it. They even swapped out the deck. An installation problem or is it the deck?
