That’s funny about the tail lights trim - I think I’m going to take them and I noticed the chrome. I just bought new tail light gaskets and the only thing about the tail lights that interests me is that maybe the chromed trim from the 84 has better drains than the base from the 81? I’ll check and report back. I had rust develop from either clogged trim drains or a worn gasket on my driver’s side tail light. My car does have both side mirrors, so I’m good there but I just may take the door checks.

Dropping and dissecting the rear end is a little bit out of my league on my own, but I did find the entire cluster (120mph speedo) hidden under a floor mat - it’s gonna be just over $30 with tax, anybody want it for $65 shipped?
