The flowmaster in the place of the rear muffler is not too loud at all, just makes for a deeper tone and more turbo sound. I did this on my car as a temporary solution to a stolen exaust, but I am in the process of welding up a better looking one right now. I do like the sound of it and the extra bit of torque it provides so I would definatley give it a shot if I were you.
