Why would you want to remove the cats on such a new car? If it were a Chevy or an older car, I'd say chop away, but these cars are so fine-tuned with all these modern engine control systems, that I think that this would be more of an invitation for headaches than an improvement. Also, cats have improved quite a bit over older designs, so they don't reduce flow too much, I have also heard in some cases, that cars can actually lose power w/o them...most notably new cars with sophisticated computers.
I have read in this forum and other places that "performance" exhausts and/or modifications for MBs really don't make much difference at all except for sound because MB has them about as good as they can get.
