I have met Karl, the fellow who did that restoration. Karl started out as an apprentice cabinet maker and was asked to fix some woodwork on a 600 and from there he realized that he could fix other things too; mostly people were just afraid of it all as being complicated. Karl wasn't afraid of it and quickly learned his way around the car. There is more to Karl than 600's. He also loves photography and motor cycles.

The International M-100 club is meeting at the end of August in Oregon. It's great chance to see 600's, 6.3's and 6.9 in various states of road-worthiness. I haven't made a meet for years. But it's a festival of eye candy and technology. Not every M-100 owner fixes his own cars, but many do indeed get their hands dirty. For those who don't there are guys like Justin, Les, Louis, Mike, Neil, Karl, Ron to name a few.
