One of my clients has a large safe in a closet. Would take numerous men and equipment to move. The lock their computers in it during their numerous multi day absences.

Just a random thought, a hard drive such as you suggest in a safe hidden under junk in a basement closet, a safe bolted to concrete, might be a good way to go. Might even be some money in providing such a service.
