You're not seriously suggesting spending that much money and effort to adapt THAT misery of a case.... are you? I love it when it works but..... I have a hard line that slowly leaks pressure. The case leaks internally and is a no return system. Eventually it overflows onto the exhaust. The pump is a nightmare to bleed when it runs low. I do have a plan to add a scavenge pump and return plumbing but...
I have spent sleepless nights contemplating copying the 6 series case and CNC machining its mirror image. It would lose the locking feature, but I could live with that as long as I kept the locking rear diff.
