Last week on vacation on Vashon Island, WA I came across three late '50's 180-190D's well hidden from public view. They are mostly complete except for an amputated rear quarter on one. One basket case, one rough, and one not too bad (with a leather interior). No sun roofs. None running. The sheet metal looked good, without the rot so common in most areas of the country.

These are diesel-engine ponton-bodied cars. They are different from the 220 body. The owner acquired them as spares for his 180A but now has no use for them. They could probably be acquired very reasonably.

E-mail me if you want to know how to contact the seller.

Anyway - it was one of those dreams come true to walk through the woods and come upon these cars. Too bad they weren't something more exotic!
