I keep hearing how some states are really down on speeding, others not so much .

I like to travel at a pretty good clip but not to weave in and out of other traffic so my speed varies all over the place .

I was driving SWMBO in my '82 240D to - day, it has a slushbox so it's pretty wound up & noisy above 65 MPH ~ I touch 70 occasionally but not often .

My Coupe, OTOH, it skips happily along @ 85 ~ 90, most of the time I like 75 or so but sometimes I get that silly 'need for speed' and if no traffic I honk right along .

FWIW, I stay the hell out of the left lane unless I'm overtaking no matter what I drive .
