Folks I would like to get referrals based on good service and fair prices for Houston Area MB mechanics who know the 560SEL. I purchased an low mileage AZ car (80K miles). And as usual with a car almost 40 yrs old, there are some catch up maintenance & repair work to be done. First is AC then suspension and other stuff.

On the AC, any thoughts about converting to R134a vs staying with R12. Any comments on shops that do a good job on AC work are appreciated.
