Feral Animals

As long as you're willing to fix them I have no problem with feeding strays but no one wants to be bothered trapping then taking them to the Vet......

? Does L.B. have it's own animal pound(s) ? .

If not L.A. has plenty and is trying very hard to be a no kill shelter, there's one in San Pedro right on the North side of the hill, just off the Harbor Freeway .

Just tell them it'll be an indoor pet and you're good to go .

I never knew about the clipped ear thing, that's clever and helpful, thanks .

My pups are neutered and chipped .

Neutering cats makes them *much* (as in vastly) happier and better pets, the need to fight and mate is part of nature's pan to ensure any particular area has a defined population, I don't like seeing wounded cats & etc. die .

Dang ~ SWMBO says go fire up the grille......

A few minutes later .

You're fooling your self if you think Long Beach doesn't have coyotes ~ they range from the mountains to the sea, I see then in every part of So. Cal. .

They're "protected" so don't get caught killing / trapping them but they're a serious pest and need to be eliminated every where they're in town .
