Very interesting. Thanks for posting. I was told, by my indy, to avoid VW's like the plague. Not sure why, exactly. Everyone has an opinion. They sure were great in the 60's and 70's. Had a bunch as a young man. A "Squareback" and a "Fastback", with Bosch electronic fuel injection, in the early 70's!! Squareback was a 4 speed manual. Great little car.....lotsa cargo space, passenger room, too. MPG's in the 30's, as well. Best of luck with yours!
