oops i guess i forgot to mention my 115 started life as a 220D, so the swap from 220D gearing to 300D gearing is quite a difference.

Not sure I'd want to go to a 3.07 as it is a little bit tougher taking off on steep hills.

cruising on the highway is greatly improved.
