I read online that the early W124 4MATIC transfer cases can have problems but I can't find anything specific on what goes wrong with them.


Can anyone shed some light on what model years/build dates to avoid on W124 4matics and aside from seals going bad is there anything else to look out for as far as the transfer case is concerned?
