I was digging through my parts orders I saved when I rebuilt the A/C on my old W210 (pre hurricane) - The part no. is definitely correct.

Im going with that if you have an original dryer fitted to the car - you need to replace it and as a matter of consequence - install the updated hose too as the coupler nuts are different.
