Sure Mike, drill a big hole in the hood over the throttle body and tie a Quaker Oats container around the throttle body, paint it with flames and get a "no fear" decal for the top of the windshield..

. Seriously, you best bet is to look elsewhere for performance increases. The stock setup is OK for most applications. If you want increased performance, try a high lift, longer duration cam. This will boost your mid high and top end power curve. You might gain some benefit from the K&N there. You could get a bigger engine also. How much do you want to spend???
