Nope, it's Jerome from "Martin".
I noticed the change about 10 years ago. The popularity in old MB diesels increased when people wanted to run their cars on WVO and grease. Unfortunately, that sent a lot of them to the junkyard, and whatever else was left was snapped up by hipsters and their values went up, which I suppose is a good thing. They're finally going from being just another old car to being appreciated as classics worthy of preservation. I do remind myself to be patient with the new generation.
I almost got swept up with the change and briefly considered a E250 Bluetec for a daily driver, but I decided I didn't want a car note and came back to reality. It was a nice car too!
