The Amazon depot by CAE airport has a mega fleet of the gray vans. If you happen to be on 77 near 12th St. in the morning it’s like a hornet army heading out for their routes.



The FedEx guy that delivers to my neighborhood almost every day has a Sprinter 3500, which I’m reasonably certain is equipped with the 642.



So I would say that if this was a common problem FedEx and Amazon would have dropped these like hot potato’s.


The amazon is dropping them. Phasing in Transits. My 16 Sprinter has been to the dealer with engine issues. Water pump and egr failures before 80000 miles
