More likely than not, the gearing for the odometer is either stripped or the mounting bracket has failed. Some have gone in and fixed the part, but it's probably easier to buy a used instrument cluster to replace the old and reset the odometer to your current mileage. The tach/clock is a separate piece from the speedometer dial and the fuel/oil temp/oil pressure/economy gauge.
