This development makes it seem like the purchase of one of these later model diesels may be a more viable option now than before. Previously, my concern would have been dealing with the high expense of any potential emissions related parts failures.

No mileage restrictions, I read through much of the document and it pretty much says MB is on the hook to keep these cars exhaust systems in check on their dime for the life of the vehicle....so if thats 300k, that might be their hard luck.
