85 500SEC rebuilt top end driven spiritedly, (Up to xxx most days commuting to and in London 22-26 mpg
89 560SEC in need of a tune up but straight through exhaust, lowered suspension and wide tyres on 18 inch rims, (same as above but faster 20-22 mpg).
I just returned from a trip to North Wales that included fast motorway, crawling through towns and villages, blasting past other cars with windows down or aircon on and I got 23 mpg.
I think this is amazing i.e. Very good.
Immagine if it was converted to LPG instead of 72.9-82.9 pence per litre I saw 27.5- 40 pence per litre i.e. the equivalent cost of 50 -60 mpg.
