Was this a really stupid decision or a kinda stupid decision?? 722.315 k2 spring

Got a new to me 722.315 and am running thru it putting in new seals, filters, gaskets, modulator, before I install it in my wagon.

I orders a k1 and k2 spring kit, k1 spring is the exact same style and part number as the one that was pulled from trans but k2 was not not. There seems to be ALOT of confusion on the correct part number and style of the k2 kit.

The k2 that was in the trans pretty much looked exactly the same as the k1 except the housing was blue and the part number was one number different. (k1 part number: 126 277 09 32)

k2 part number that WAS in trans: 126 277 10 32
If you google this part number there absolutely no hits there's no info about.
The NEW k2 part number is 126 277 84 32
and this one does bring up a lot of hits on google and past k1/k2 threads on here and seems to be the most common k2 spring used.

All these part numbers are the numbers that are stamped on the plastic housing (not the part number of the full kit)

Sooo basically I just took the risk of assuming this part was upgraded and re designed over the years so I decided to install it in the trans.

Was this a stupid idea? My thinking is that it should still work because Ive seen other 722.315's use this k2 and also its odd how there is literally NO information about the k2 that was in the trans.

Should I take the risk and bolt up the trans and try it out? Or should I just put the old k2 back in? Because the style is completely different, see pics below. Orr should I get another brand new k1 kit and put it in the k2 slot? They really look like they are exactly the same just a different color lol

Lastly please look at pics of how I set up the springs on the new k2 and help me confirm this is how its supposed to be installed. long spring with skinny spring inside facing into the valve body (away from screw on backing plate)

See old k2 is set up just like how the typical k1 is. Plus I know the new one looks a lot longer but the old one is being held compressed down by the plastic spring holder thing. Is this set up correctly?? I put long spring side into the chamber

Here are the part numbers

heres the info about the k1 kit with the new k1 spring. again my old k2 looks damn near exactly that same as the k1 pictured here except pn is 1 number different and its blue
