I haven't tried in the last two years, but as an autorized Becker repair facility since before that radio was made, we can not get the tool.
About two years ago I had my parts contact (I have known him since I worked in the same dealer 30 years ago) approach the district service manager about the issue and MB was still firm in not letting go.
MB recently signed an agreement (as did 20 other manufacturers) agreeing (to avoid legislation) to allow access to all information and tooling available to dealer technicians. BMW was held to the fire by a tech group and has done so - pretty much. MB has only brought out the website. They have yet to change their policies on security issues....or at least they haven't told anyone.
