The EPA does not acknowledge that ANY alternative refrigerant is a "drop in" for any refrigerant being replaced. The term "drop in" is a manufacturer's buzzword, and it wrongly suggests that alternative refrigerants can be placed into a system without the need to change fittings. This is a big no-no!
