No expert, and I have no dog in the fight since I have Evans Waterless Coolant in my two 300's, but still interested. You can find many discussions. I post one below which seems researched. G05 is HOAT which Chrysler and M-B used until 2012. Chrysler then switched to OAT, which is claimed identical to GM Dexcool. I don't know if M-B did the same (divorced by then?).

I made the mistake of putting Dexcool in my 1996 Plymouth Voyager maybe 5 years ago, tempted by the "10 year lifetime" claim on the jug. It had normal green coolant before. I recall flushing it well with citric acid and water first, but unsure. Still, hard to get all the coolant out of the block and heat core, even if you unscrew the block drain(s). For the last few years, I have been getting small brown squishy floaters at the top of the radiator, coating the cap. It isn't oily like one gets from a head gasket leak, more feeling like degraded cork. It might be the stuff people fuss about if you "cross the the streams". The engine even started running hot last summer, which I fixed by a citric acid flush and back to green coolant. Could be something else like degrading hoses, though the radiator hoses are fairly new and all heater hoses are now silicone. The only vehicle I'm not running Evans in, and keeping it green to use up my coolant stock.
