I have been procrastinating for some time but I think it is time for me to relinquish my 85 300D to a new caretaker. As much as I have enjoyed working on it, I do not have the time to devote to it any longer and I do not want to watch it deteriorate from lack of use. I was talking with the mechanic, a classic Mercedes enthusiast who just did the PA state inspection, about the best place to list it for sale and he suggested a website that I have not heard of before: Bringatrailer.com. Does anyone here have any experience with them? It appears to be an auction site that is much more comprehensive than EBay and is designed for interaction between the seller and buyer. The car is a low miles, no rust car and I want to find a buyer who is not just looking for a beater. Thanks for any input. I will list it on this site also in the For Sale section.
