The 612 doesn't seem to have many conversion plate suppliers. Europe got more om61x options than we did here in the USA. I think there is one vendor on ih8mud seeking interest on om61x adapters to fit land cruiser transmissions.

With the rover my adapter options are an LS v8, om617, om60x, Cummins 2.8 or the factory 4.0/4.6. I can fit other swaps but would require way more fab work


While the 612 may be leaps and bounds better than the 602, can the 602 not make north of 200 ft lbs of torque on a stock block/heads with an upgraded injection pump?
