i have found the blowerfans also have a fuseable link which is a very thin metal strip...these are not in fuse box but in a separate small black box with two screws..one one eac end..actually there is a little door you can open between the 2 screws and view that metal link...sounds like the problem....it was with my 300se and 400e.
