As we moved from chicago to western michigan, we make frequent trips to the other side of the lake.
My wife is nervous her 96 taurus (70kmi) will have troubles on the way, so we never take it.
Instead, we always take my 190 because we are confident that there will not be an issue (I drive it 80-100 miles a day at 80mph). Its also been to detroit (200mi) and central illinois (350 mi) in the last 4 weeks. All that and an average of 37.2 mpg over the last three tankfulls.
How do you beat it????????
