I lost the key to my 1987 300SDL and am unable to start my car. The doors are unlocked so I can get into it as well as the trunk. I called a locksmith, he cut 10 keys and was able to make one that worked on the passenger door but it didn’t turn the ignition tumbler or the driver side door. Just wanted to ask if you have any suggestions or if I need to go through the dealership. The car is currently in my garage at my house. I actually wanted to sell it so if anybody is looking to buy it, just send me a pm.
