I've been fortunate because I've been able to get by with replacing the key heads. There is a former forum member whose handle I forgot that is/was selling aluminum key heads on Amazon for ~$30.

We had an email exchange and he buys in lots of 1,000 and let's Amazon deal with the marketing and distribution.
