looking at a 97 NA 606 car with 230k. tried google but not much luck on finding info on potential issues with the engine bay harness. by the age and mileage of the car should i assume its been changed already? is it like the 80s volvos that had the visible crumbling wiring insulation?

is there an aftermarket option like the volvo had or OEM only?
