racism may or may not be political in nature. I have followed the actions regarding race and the U.S. government for quite some time.
Every government brings in an idea I like to call "today's whippin' post" AKA "which race or religion are we going after today?". During World War II, Roosevelt rounded up all the Japanese Americans and put them in INTERNMENT CAMPS for the duration of the war. When recently interviewed, one of the camp survivors shared what life was like in the internment camps.
Every morning, they were FORCED to say the pledge of allegiance. He said he will never forget saying the words,
"FOR LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL" as he and the rest of the camp stared at a tall
BARB WIRED SECURITY FENCE keeping them in their place.
Hilarious.
Back when 9/11 happened, Muslims were the whippin' post. Today, it is Latinos.
