I got the crap scared out of me by a Prius in battery mode. In the parking lot at an Orchard Supply Hardware, I was rummaging around in the backseat for some part that I needed to take in to match. I was having trouble finding it so I knelt down so I could hunt around on the floor or maybe under the front seat.
All of a sudden the car next to me, a Prius, started to move. I freaked out, not knowing whether or not my feet might be in the path of the rear wheel. I emerged unscathed, my underwear still clean, but I didn't like it.
