Michelins vs Turanza
I encountered vibration problems especially when cold on all Michelins. I tried MXV4s in both H and V ratings.
I got a good price of $532 on the LS-H installed and "road force" balanced, he did not have the MB weights, set the balancer on high sensitivity and even shaved some weights.
My local Firestone dealer wanted $660, but did not have the balancer. I have been paying $150 or so for Michelins, more at the dealer, but LS-H go for $114. I would definately check with TIRE-RACK, they also list shops who will accept drop ship from them, and those that have the GSP balancer. That is where I found the shop I used.
The "road force" checks the tire for roundness and stiffness, by spinning it against a small wheel, adding weights and then balancing. Most dealers have the machine, but a lot of tire shops dont.
