I mean? Did you time yourself, I bet it was under 2 seconds. YES, I believe you could use those terms you gave, but it goes against every fiber of our being, because everybody KNOWS that an electrical device that produces motion is a MOTOR, but no one knows WHY. It's just how we learned to refer to them since we were young. I still maintain they are actually interchangeable with each other.
