This is what the second owner told me:
The reason it has the kind of title it does, is mostly due to the insurance company.
When the car got hit on the drivers side, the insurance company thought that the cost of fixing everything was more than what they thought the car is worth. (Who hasn't hear that before?)
The car really is nice inside, and outside too. How do I know? I drove Frank to the owners house, so he could look at it.
Both of us looked and drove it. It shifts, and accelerates better than my 300D.
The antenna needs a new mast. The monovalve was just replaced (I did it). I honestly do not know what is wrong with the A/C. Could be anything from a busted belt, to a leaky pressure switch, to a leaky evaporator.
Drive the car...I think you will find that the way it rides, handles, shifts, and accelerates, you will be more certain than ever that the stated mileage is correct.
I myself was thinking about talking him out of it for myself

...but I had just bought the E420, and besides that, have run out of room on the driveway.
