I've noticed the same thing. I attribute it to driving closer to redline a lot more, and maybe the impurities in the fuel system being flushed out. I do notice that the effects last for several tankfuls after treatment.
I wonder if the Techron somehow "lubricates" the fuel and continues to do stuff for several tankfuls.
I've been sticking to name brand premium 93 octane (lately lots of Texaco).
I try to find the cheapest major brand station, for hopefully the freshest fuel.
