Plastic is the answer

There are several companies that sell 3M platic covering for cars. I have some on my headlights on my 99 C280, also you can buy precut for the front parts, ie airdam, front of hood, review mirrors, contact you local dealer I am sure they can steer you. Also I noticed you use Griots, in their catalog they sell the stuff for headlights, I did the install on the headlights my self not hard, on other parts of the body, it is a bit more difficult as the plastic is thinner then the headlights, The stuff last I had a Z3 and had the bumpers down at a local body shop and when I sold the car 3 years later there wasn't a mark on the bumper.
