6.3, 6.9, Grand 600 Internet Resource

For those who are interested, there is a great resource for 6.3, 6.9 and 600 owners (or prospective buyers) on the Internet at:

http://www.m-100.info

This is the site for the International Association of M-100 Owners (IAMO) which is an affiliation of owners and "friends" who are enthusiasts of the M-100-powered MBs.

The site contains a number of public and private (members-only) bulletin boards, along with the most comprehensive collection of brochures, articles, manuals, reference materials, and maintenance information anywhere, for the MB cars powered by the M-100 (6.3 and 6.9) engines.

Registration for full access to the public bulletin boards is encouraged but not required -- you can access the BBS as an unregistered guest, but cannot post. If you do register, you can supply as little or as much information as you wish, but no specific information is required other than a user name and password for successive visits.

Since its introduction in October 2002 the site has seen a steady increase in traffic and volume of posts. It is rapidly turning into the Internet's best repository of M-100 related maintenance information; and is an excellent place to get questions answered. The folks who hang out there are very knowledgeable and friendly; egos are left at the door so to speak. All with an interest in the cars are welcomed with open arms, and all questions are answered quickly and accurately. Discussions encouraged.

One project that the IAMO team has been working hard on, which will be released soon, is the ONLY real, and most comprehensive, registry of M-100 powered cars anywhere. This will be an accurate as possible source for the roughly 15,000 M-100 powered cars produced, and has as much information as is known about both "junked" and running cars. This resource is always being updated with new information and at its public release should be pretty impressive.

Cheers,
Gerry
