I forgot to mention that the price is right. Or at least it seems right in my twisted view of the world.

I would say that the problem with the fans could be as simple as the fuse, which I didn’t check. But the engine shouldn’t run that hot at moderate speeds in mild temperatures; the fans shouldn’t be on under those circumstances.

On a side note, I still won’t be selling my 84 300D. It’s just too good of a car to let go…
