I believe this is what caused the unit to go bad, but I can't be sure. FWIW, My E500 has about 101K on the clock.

Just to be clear, the part is available new. The dealer wants $3100, wholesale is about $2500 and I have found the part new for as low as $2000. I am looking for a used replacement, however, and there seem to be a few that will fit the bill I just haven't found one yet. Hope this clears things up.

What is the actual problem with your vehicle? And what tests were performed to conclude that your EZL unit is the cause?
